Land Transport Committee warns of the danger of an extensive cover-up and preparing for the Expanded meeting
The East Chamber Committee on Land Transport expressed the resentment exacerbated the phenomenon of cover-up in the road transport sector, which is now cast a shadow on the activity of the carriers, and produce effects improperly on the national economy.
The Commission also warned in its meeting held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Abdullah bin Ali Al-Dosari of an outbreak of some negative phenomena which are equally bad for the cover-up such as the theft of tankers and the smuggling of some goods and prohibited goods, such a situation gives the image is positive for the sector, and employees, and this requires extra effort by the authorities concerned.
And called for a successful solution to the phenomenon of the rapid accumulation of tankers roads, especially those that are near the checkpoints.
The Committee considers the need to hold an expanded meeting involving all working in the road transport enterprises, and formed for this purpose, a working group of members of the Committee to discuss the matter and determine the place and time of the meeting.
